Chairman & Managing Director

An alumnus of 1987 batch of Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology, Pune, Mr. Chavan started his career with Bajaj Auto Ltd. After nine years of service he left Bajaj Auto and incorporated a proprietorship firm, M/s. Phoenix Enterprises to capitalise on opportunities envisaged by him in the precision tubes industry. In 2002, he acquired Innoventive Industries, erstwhile known as Arihant Domestic Appliances Pvt. Ltd. Since then he has been an integral part of the company’s Board of Directors.

His experience and expertise has been the driving force behind growth strategy of the Group and entry of the Group in various product segments and new markets. He has also been instrumental in driving many domestic and international acquisitions made by the Company. A first-generation entrepreneur, avid reader and traveller, he has been pioneer behind several Social Innovation projects.

Director

An alumnus of 1984 batch of Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology, Pune, Mr Katre joined Bajaj Auto Ltd in 1985, where he worked for 14 years at key positions in various departments as in production, quality, materials and new vehicle developments. He has completed post-graduation in Management Sciences from the University of Pune. He joined M/s. Phoenix Enterprises in 1999 as a partner and later in 2002 joined the Board of Directors of the Company.

Pursued course on ‘Leadership and Senior Management’ from the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad and a diploma in ‘Import and Export’ from Exim Institute, Mr. Katre has maintained a continuous focus on internalizing newer aspects of business and management and implementing them in the organization. He directs overall management activities and innovative projects for the company.

Independent Director

Mr. Gaikwad comes with a rich experience of 29 years in the field of various constructions of various civil and commercial establishments. He is an alumnus of 1984 batch of Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology, Pune.

He is actively involved in various social activities in the fields of Education, Health and Sanitation.

Pursued her Masters in Social Work from reputed ‘Karve Isntitute of Social Sciences, Pune’, Pournima is actively involved in Social Work for more than last two decades. She is the founder of ‘Disha Mahila Vikas Sahkari Sewa Society’, an NGO working for Women Empowerment.

Pournima has been associated with Aga Khan Foundation, an international agency working for social cause as a counsellor since 2013. She is recipient of numerous awards offered by noted organizations working for community welfare in various ways.
